In addition to the joy of dance and movement, this year's two-week dance theater camp is about the importance of water. Too little and too much: drought and heavy rain are the challenges of our time. Access to clean water is essential for a dignified life and is a human right. What will happen to us if this is no longer a given? How do we share the planet's water with all life forms on an equal basis?
In the dance theater camp we ask about the "dignity of water!" and go on a creative, research-based search for clues. Through play, dance and imaginative exercises we put ourselves in different perspectives: What does water feel like as dance? How does a dry riverbed speak? How much power does a thirsty body have? What would happen if my drinking water made me sick?
Accompanied by a stage artist and educational team, we offer you exciting and important questions as well as lots of fun, creative adventures and individual experiences. We look forward to seeing you!
