Kerstin Witges
Project and Company Management
Kerstin Witges has been production manager at steptext dance project e.V. (steptext) since October 2015. She graduated in French Philology, Applied Cultural Studies and Sociology from the Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität Münster in 2010. During her studies she stayed in France several times and gained professional experience at Theater Titanick Münster, Goethe Institut Lyon and Centre culturel français Freiburg.
From 2010-2011 she worked as a project manager at the Plateforme de la jeune création franco-allemande, Lyon, in the framework of the program "Work at the Partner" of the Franco-German Youth Office. She was in charge of the conception, organization and realization of workshops (dance, theater, clowning, pantomime, etc.) for young artists.
After her return, Kerstin Witges worked as a cultural assistant at the Institut français Bremen, where she was responsible for program coordination, project management and communication/PR. In this context, she worked together with steptext for the first time, for example on the internationally oriented project zuhause.anderswo.
